Anyone used MacFuse?
My brother Steve just pointed me to MacFuse which looks like it will be super handy!You have been able to setup a remote SSH virtual local file system on linux for a while now. I have wanted to be able to do this on my Mac for a few years now.

Howto Backup your Mac incrementally over SSH
Do you have access to a shell account on a unix server with some spare space? If so it's pretty easy to incrementally backup your files securely with SSH.

Setting up public key authentication over SSH
Every time I want to setup public key authentication over SSH, I have to look it up, and I've never found a simple guide, so here's mine.Generate key on local machine
ssh-keygen -t rsa
It will ask you for a password but you can leave it blank.

Using svn over ssh
I was delighted to find that connecting to a subversion repository on a remote server over SSH was quite easy on my Mac (windows may be another story).

SSH for Windows
I was recently pointed to an OpenSSH installer for Windows. This includes both the clients (ssh, scp) and a server (ssh shell server, and scp/sftp server). It also adds the clients to your path for you so you can use them from the command line.
