WebSite Ripoffs

While reading java.blogs I found a site (rovol.com I'm not going to link to it) that looked very familiar. The site is an obvious ripoff of Macromedia.com. They even went so far as to rotate the Macromedia logo sideways to use as a bullet. On sub pages the Macromedia logo is upside down at the bottom of the page.

What gets me is that the guy has links to art projects, so he probably has some ability to create a somewhat original design.

There is a web site that features ripoffs at: pirated-sites.com.

I really dont think this guy "ripped" off macromedia, although his use of the macromedia logo is sort of strange. In dreamweaver it gives you the template of this site, and he has just modified that. It comes bundled with every version of dreamweaver mx 2004 (maybe just mx, im not sure) I actually use this same design for one of my sites. This really isnt a rip, macromedia gave this template to them. In fact if you use editcss in the webdeveloper extension for firefox youll find a copyright to macromedia in there.
