I recently spent some time debugging AJAX connections for a application I built for a client using Blackberry WebWorks (via PhoneGap) and jQuery Mobile. The app was already working great on iOS and Android, however my AJAX (XMLHTTPRequest's) were not working on Blackberry.

When building native apps with jQuery Mobile I often find that the back button is not needed in the header toolbar.

I gave a presentation to my local ColdFusion users group in December on Building Mobile Apps for iOS (iPhone, iPod, iPad) and Android devices using jQuery Mobile, and PhoneGap.

Yesterday I had a chance to get my feet wet with the Alpha 1 release of jQuery Mobile for one of my clients. Prior to yesterday I had been working with jqTouch for mobile UI.
