O'Reilly has launched a new book series called the Designer's Notebook Series. I just received the books today from O'Reilly. They sent me Photo Retouching with Photoshop, and Illustrations with Photoshop, the first two books in the series.

Both books are full color, step by step guides. Each chapter of the book takes an image or photo and shows you how to perform different transformations on it. The photo retouching notebook looks to be really handy for retouching old scanned in photos, and pictures from my digital camera.
